The Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) basketball felled the host William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 65-57 in Friday's league test.
The Colonels (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the Blue Ridge bout with a 16-0 record. In their last bout, Northside topped Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 58-45, in a league bout.
Next up, the Terriers clash with the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a Blue Ridge bout, on Tuesday, January 24. William Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
