The Gateway Christian Warriors basketball team (Roswell, NM), was toppled 39-29 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM)
The Broncos now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hondo Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24.
The Warriors (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Elida (Elida, NM). The Tigers come into the A District 4 battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Elida beat Dexter (Dexter, NM), 55-48, in a non-league battle.
