With the win, Fort Bend Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Eagles host Emery/Weiner (Houston, TX) to play the in a TAPPS 5A District 5 bout on Saturday, January 21. The go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Emery/Weiner lost 60-45 in their recent league bout against Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Kelly Catholic Bulldogs (Beaumont, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. St. John XXIII will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-21 record after their 60-45 league win over Emery/Weiner (Houston, TX).
