Fowler Eagles (Fowler, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Saranac Redskins (Saranac, MI), 71-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Fowler upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles host Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Nouvel Catholic Central won 61-51 in their recent league bout against Ithaca (Ithaca, MI)

Next up, the Redskins play the Portland Raiders (Portland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Saranac will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 49-37 league loss to Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI).
