The Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) basketball knocked off the host Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), 69-60 in Friday's league test.
The Roughriders (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Grant (Portland, OR). The Generals go into the 6A Portland test with a 5-10 record.
The Quakers now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a 6A Portland test on Tuesday, January 24. Franklin will encounter a Democrats squad coming off a 71-34 league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Democrats record now stands at 6-8.
