With the victory, Huffman upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host Center Point (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a 6A Area 11 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-15.

Next up, the Rockets play the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Gardendale will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 65-51 non-league win over West Blocton (West Blocton, AL).
