Garfield County Mustangs (Jordan, MT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hobson/Moore (Hobson, MT), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Garfield County upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Terry (Terry, MT) to play the Terriers in a C District 4 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Terry won 72-52 in their recent league bout against Carter County (Ekalaka, MT)

Next up, the play the Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine (Denton, MT) in a C District 8 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Hobson/Moore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 57-53 league loss to Grass Range/Winnett (Grass Range, MT).
