Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), 66-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Garfield upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Legacy (South Gate, CA) to play the Tigers in a Eastern bout on Monday, January 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Legacy won 57-44 in their recent league bout against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Rams play the Bell Eagles (Bell, CA) in a Eastern bout, on Monday, January 23. South Gate will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 66-48 league loss to South East (South Gate, CA).
