The Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR) basketball crushed the host Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR), 73-42 in Friday's league test.
The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Bismarck (Bismarck, AR). The Lions go into the 3A Region 7 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Bismarck was trounced by Fouke (Fouke, AR), 45-30, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Genoa Central will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 75-37 league win over Cornerstone Christian (Tillar, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 11-10.
