Gilmanton Panthers (Gilmanton, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Independence Indees (Independence, WI), 62-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Gilmanton upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Blair-Taylor lost 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI)

Next up, the Indees clash with the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
