The Silver Creek Black Knights basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Gowanda Panthers to 57 in the Black Knights league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Silver Creek upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Ellicottville (Ellicottville, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 22. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Ellicottville won 48-25 in their recent league bout against Cattaraugus-Little Valley (Cattaraugus, NY)
Next up, the Panthers play the Portville Panthers (Portville, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I East bout, on Friday, January 27. Gowanda will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
