Legacy Christian Academy Eagles (Frisco, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX), 86-62 in a league bout.

With the victory, Legacy Christian Academy upgrades its record to 26-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Brighter Horizons Academy (Garland, TX) to play the Stars in a TAPPS 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Stars come into the bout with a record of 9-13. Brighter Horizons Academy won 53-50 in their recent league bout against Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Bishop Dunne Falcons (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Grace Community will attempt to upgrade on its 21-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 5-22 record after their 67-48 league loss to Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).
