The Greenup County Musketeers tipped the host Lewis County Lions basketball team by a final score of 58-53 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Musketeers face the Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 21. Greenup County will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 6-9 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Russell (Russell, KY).

The Lions (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 2-15 record.
