The Mattawan Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Gull Lake Blue Devils to 57 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kalamazoo Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Mattawan will battle a Maroon Giants team coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Maroon Giants record now stands at 9-1.
The Blue Devils (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Lakeshore ran past Portage Northern (Portage, MI), 34-33, in a league contest.
