Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX), 65-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Guyer upgrades its record to 17-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to play the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Blue Hawks go into the bout with a record of 14-9. Rock Hill lost 67-51 in their recent league bout against McKinney (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Lobos play the Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Little Elm will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-14 record after their 58-51 league win over Boyd (McKinney, TX).
