Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) and the host Starks Panthers (Starks, LA), saw Hackberry's basketball squad overcome Starks by a tally of 74-66.

With the victory, Hackberry improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Singer (Singer, LA) to confront the Hornets in a C District 4 challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Singer won 55-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Merryville (Merryville, LA)
