The Middlesboro Yellowjackets basketball team scored 100 points and held the host Harlan Green Dragons to 51 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clay County for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Middlesboro will battle a Tigers team coming off a 94-64 league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 7-8.
With the defeat, Harlan moves to 13-2 on the year. The Green dragons host Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, January 23. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-5.
