The Oconee County Warriors basketball team (Watkinsville, GA), dropped 68-55 in Friday's league battle with the host Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a AAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Hart County will confront a Lions team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA). The Lions record now stands at 5-14.
The Warriors (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Purple Hurricanes come into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Monroe Area beat Morgan County (Madison, GA), 71-51, in a non-league battle.
