The Wynne Yellowjackets basketball team (Wynne, AR), was toppled 48-38 in Friday's league battle with the host Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR)
The Rebels now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blytheville for a 4A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Highland will confront a Chickasaws team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to White Station (Memphis, TN). The Chickasaws record now stands at 22-1.
The Yellowjackets (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Southside (Batesville, AR). The Southerners come into the 4A Region 3 battle with a 7-6 record.
