The Hill-Murray Pioneers basketball team (Maplewood, MN), was overwhelmed 98-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN)
The Zephyrs now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Simley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. Mahtomedi will meet a Spartans team coming off a 72-55 league loss to South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 6-8.
The Pioneers (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Hastings was routed by Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
