Virginia High School Basketball - Hopewell trounces Prince George

January 20, 2023: Hopewell, VA 23860

The Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 77-37 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials go into the Central test with a 7-7 record.

The Royals now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Meadowbrook for a Central test on Tuesday, January 24. Prince George will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 62-50 league loss to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-12.
