The Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), 83-73 in Friday's non-league test.

The Skippers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Edina (Edina, MN). The Hornets go into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Edina went down by Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 68-57, in a non-league test.

The Royals now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they host St. Michael-Albertville for a non-league test on Friday, January 27.
