Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), 48-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Huntley upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Red Raiders host Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Boylan Catholic won 63-54 in their recent league bout against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Prairie Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 65-31 league win over Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL).
