The St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels basketball team (Monroe, MI), was nudged 40-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI)

The Chiefs now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Airport for a Huron battle on Tuesday, January 24. Huron will confront a Jets team coming off a 66-44 league loss to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Jets record now stands at 5-7.

The Falcons/Kestrels (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Monroe, MI). The Bears go into the Huron outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Jefferson was tipped by Riverview (Riverview, MI), 74-51, in a league outing.
