Tennessee High School Basketball - Ripley trounces Jackson South Side

The Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN) basketball crushed the host Jackson South Side Hawks (Jackson, TN), 65-41 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Tomcats go into the 3A District 14 test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Haywood walloped East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR), 80-64, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to South Gibson for a 3A District 12 test on Tuesday, January 24. Jackson South Side will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Obion County (Troy, TN). The Hornets record now stands at 8-9.
