Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins over Ware County

January 20, 2023: Waycross, GA 31503

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) and the host Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), saw Jenkins's basketball squad overcome Ware County by a tally of 52-43.

With the victory, Jenkins improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Warriors host Coffee (Douglas, GA) to confront the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Coffee won 62-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA)

Next up, the Gators confront the Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Ware County will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 43-40 league win over Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA).
