Ouachita Warriors (Donaldson, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR), 53-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Ouachita upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Warriors host Woodlawn (Rison, AR) to clash with the Bears in a 2A Region 8 bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Woodlawn won 77-70 in their recent league bout against Rison (Rison, AR)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR) in a 2A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Junction City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 77-70 league loss to Woodlawn (Rison, AR).
