The Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 50-47 in Friday's league test.
The Captains (3-8) will now prepare for their test against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Cougars go into the Lakes Valley test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, South Lyon East got by Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI), 57-55, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeland for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, January 24. Walled Lake Northern will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 47-41 league win over South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
