Texas High School Basketball - Spring Hill can't hold off Kilgore

The Kilgore Bulldogs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Spring Hill Panthers to 37 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Kilgore will battle a Buckeyes team coming off a 49-42 league win over Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 7-11.

The Panthers (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Carthage was nudged by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 56-25, in a league contest.
