The Kimball Longhorns basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Sutherland Sailors to 50 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hershey for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Kimball will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-32 non-league loss to Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.

The Sailors (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Creek Valley (Chappell, NE). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Creek Valley was routed by Banner County (Harrisburg, NE), 48-32, in a non-league contest.
