In Friday's league outing, the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), by a margin of 49-36.
The Wolverines (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions go into the District 4 outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, South County was beaten by Metamora (Metamora, IL), 61-59, in a non-league outing.
The Bruins now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to West Springfield for a District 4 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Lake Braddock will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 63-45 league loss to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-10.
