With the victory, Lakeview upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Gators host Winnfield (Winnfield, LA) to play the Tigers in a 2A District 3 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA) in a 2A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Mansfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 82-44 league win over Many (Many, LA).
