The Lamar Vikings basketball team (Arlington, TX), was overwhelmed 74-42 in Friday's league battle with the host South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX)
The Warriors now possess a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin for a 6A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 24. South Grand Prairie will confront a Warriors team coming off a 60-53 league win over Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 23-3.
The Vikings (4-18) will now prepare for their battle against Martin (Arlington, TX). The Warriors come into the 6A Region I District 8 battle with a 24-3 record. In their last battle, Martin trounced South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 69-60, in a league battle.
