The Lansing Catholic Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Portland Raiders to 37 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fowlerville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Lansing Catholic will meet a Gladiators team coming off a 73-49 league loss to St. Johns (St. Johns, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-7.

The Raiders (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saranac (Saranac, MI). The Redskins enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Saranac was outscored by Fowler (Fowler, MI), 71-41, in a league contest.
