LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX), 63-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, LBJ Austin upgrades its record to 14-14 on the campaign. The Jaguars host St. Andrew's (Austin, TX) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 5-19. St. Andrew's lost 81-68 in their recent league bout against Episcopal (Bellaire, TX)

Next up, the Raiders play the Navarro Vikings (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Northeast Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record.
