Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northside Eagles (Warner Robins, GA), 82-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Lee County upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a AAAAAA Region 1 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Thomas County Central lost 52-46 in their recent league bout against Veterans (Kathleen, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 52-46 league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA).
