Texas High School Basketball - Linden-Kildare overwhelmed by Union Grove

The Union Grove Lions basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Linden-Kildare Tigers to 23 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hawkins for a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Union Grove will battle a Hawks team coming off a 80-52 league win over Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 17-6.
The Tigers (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against McLeod (McLeod, TX). The Longhorns come into the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, McLeod triumphed over Harleton (Harleton, TX), 61-22, in a league contest.
