In Friday's league outing, the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) basketball squad felled the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), by a margin of 63-46.
The Wildcats (14-12) will now prepare for their outing against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region II District 12 outing with a 6-15 record. In their last outing, Chisum was beaten by Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX), 85-47, in a league outing.
The Buffaloes now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they host Commerce for a 3A Region II District 12 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Lone Oak will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 48-41 league loss to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-14.
