Virginia High School Basketball - Tuscarora thwarts Loudoun Valley

The Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA), 51-37 in Friday's league test.

The Huskies (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Rock Ridge notched a victory over Broad Run (Ashburn, VA), 58-49, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a Dulles test on Tuesday, January 24. Loudoun Valley will encounter a Pride squad coming off a 61-57 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Pride record now stands at 5-13.
