Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), 64-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Richardson upgrades its record to 19-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Nimitz (Irving, TX) to play the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 9-13. Nimitz lost 60-43 in their recent league bout against MacArthur (Irving, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Dallas Jesuit Rangers (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, January 27. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 8-19 season record.
