Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stoughton Black Knights (Stoughton, MA), 83-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Mansfield upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Hornets host Franklin (Franklin, MA) to clash with the Panthers in a Hockomock bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Franklin won 67-47 in their recent league bout against Attleboro (Attleboro, MA)

Next up, the Black Knights clash with the Foxborough Warriors (Foxborough, MA) in a Hockomock bout, on Monday, January 23. Stoughton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 75-73 league win over Canton (Canton, MA).
