Michigan High School Basketball - Marine City ripped by Port Huron

The Port Huron Big Reds basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Marine City Mariners to 33 in the Big Reds league triumph on Friday.
The Big Reds now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marysville for a Macomb Area - Silver contest on Tuesday, January 24. Port Huron will battle a Vikings team coming off a 49-34 league loss to St. Clair (St. Clair, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-11.
The Mariners (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison Heights, MI). The Eagles enter the Macomb Area - Bronze contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Madison was routed by Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI), 65-64, in a league contest.
