The Marion-Franklin Red Devils basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting South Bulldogs to 62 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut Ridge for a Columbus City - South contest on Tuesday, January 24. Marion-Franklin will meet a Scots team coming off a 75-43 non-league loss to Emmanuel Christian (Toledo, OH). The Scots record now stands at 6-11.

The Bulldogs (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Columbus, OH). The 76ers enter the Columbus City - South contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Independence nudged Mifflin (Columbus, OH), 69-57, in a non-league contest.
