The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks basketball team (Mt. Vernon, AR), was nudged 55-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR)
The Bobcats now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 battle on Saturday, January 28.
The Warhawks (14-14) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Timberwolves come into the 2A Region 2 battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Cedar Ridge was nudged by Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR), 50-47, in a league battle.
