With the victory, McAllen Memorial upgrades its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Pioneer (Mission, TX) to play the Diamondbacks in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Diamondbacks come into the challenge with a record of 19-11. Pioneer won 51-40 in their recent league challenge against McAllen (McAllen, TX)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Sharyland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-18 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 74-44 league loss to Vela (Edinburg, TX).
