With the win, McCormick upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Chiefs travel to South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind (Spartanburg, SC) to play the Hornets in a A Region 2 bout on Monday, January 23. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-6. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind lost 78-8 in their recent league bout against Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC)

Next up, the Hornets play the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes (Calhoun Falls, SC) in a A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Ware Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Blue Flashes go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 70-55 non-league win over Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC).
