Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), 58-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Prosper upgrades its record to 12-14 on the season. The Eagles travel to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX) to play the Lobos in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 12-15. Little Elm lost 65-38 in their recent league bout against Guyer (Denton, TX)

Next up, the Broncos play the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 22-6 record after their 73-56 league win over Braswell (Little Elm, TX).
