In Friday's league outing, the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), by a count of 71-38.
The Wildcats (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers go into the 2A Conference 34 outing with a 11-3 record.
The Phoenix now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to T.W. Andrews for a 2A Conference 34 outing on Tuesday, January 24. McMichael will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 109-83 league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 10-6.
