Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Princeton Vikings (Cincinnati, OH), 57-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Middletown upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Middies host Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH) to play the Thunderhawks in a Greater Miami bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Lakota East lost 37-36 in their recent league bout against Lakota West (West Chester, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mason Comets (Mason, OH) in a Greater Miami bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 58-53 league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, OH).
