Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 66-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Mott upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Corsairs host Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI) to play the Warriors in a Lakes Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Walled Lake Western lost 57-55 in their recent league bout against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI)

Next up, the Lions play the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. South Lyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 38-33 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI).
